Driven Deliveries Inc (DRVD) has been fulfilling one of the most important gaps in the medical marijuana industry by operating its own delivery service for cannabis inside the United States. Last month, Driven made a major breakthrough after it signed a letter of intent to acquire cannabis retailing company Mountain High Recreation. It is a significant development for Driven since the acquisition will raise its annual revenues by as much as $2.5 million once it is completed. Mountain High primarily operates in California, which one of the most lucrative cannabis markets in the world and in addition to that, it has a vast array of products which will also raise Driven’s profile significantly. Moreover, Mountain High will allow Driven to make same day deliveries.

May had been a highly successful month for DRVD. In addition to further expanding the range of products on offer and consolidating its presence in California, the company also entered the state of Nevada. It launched its Nevada operations with Shango Marijuana Dispensary, which has emerged as the most successful cannabis retailer in the state. Nevada is a highly lucrative market, having generated $530 million of cannabis sales last year and if Driven can capture the market in the gambling haven of Las Vegas, then it could prove to be a huge boost for the company.

However, the company’s profile in California continued to rise as it managed to get two key delivery licenses that will now allow it to deliver and sell cannabis from California City. The development is a huge boost for Driven Deliveries as it will allow it to not only make deliveries but also operate brick and mortar stores. Effectively, its footprint in California expanded significantly as it will now be able to serve potentially 13,000,000 people in Southern California and other areas. Driven Deliveries has managed to make some giant strides over the past few months and is primed to become the market leader in its niche.
