Money is pouring into the betting markets as the UK heads to the polls this morning, pushing the odds of a ‘Remain’ vote to 84 per cent according to Betfair.

Only around an hour ago, the implied probability of a pro-EU vote was 78 per cent, according to the bookmakers.

“There’s so much money coming in on the market that the odds are fluctuating quite a lot this morning, but momentum is firmly behind Remain”, said Naomi Totten at Betfair.
